Design
NV50A02u eyes are what you expect from a laptop very cheap: no trace of brightness or color. There is a pattern of ripples on the surface of matte black, textured, so you can feel when you run your fingers. The design is not as well designed as the Dell Inspiron M501R-1655MRB ($ 649.99), or as colorful as the Toshiba Satellite L645D-S4025 Purple ($ 498.99). But what it lacks in looks, NV50A02u made for portability, it is one of the lightest 15-inch laptops. At 5 pounds, is lighter than the Acer Aspire AS5742-6475 ($ 599.99) and much lighter than the Dell 1655MRB M501R (5.6 lbs) Sony VAIO VPC-EB33FM/BJ ($ 629.99 ) The 15, six-inch widescreen display is great and a delight for the eyes. Its 1366 x 768 is as high as one might expect from a budget laptop, but more than enough for the office and media consumption. The experience of writing is generally a lot in this price range, but NV50A02u past with great success.
