The design is slightly better than most laptops in this price range. The bottom is a smooth plastic base only (battery is not designed to be easily replaced), and the lid has a brushed aluminum look. Internal keyboard deck looks like a mixture of metal and plastic. While Samsung laptops more affordable based on quality materials as the Series 3, and the general atmosphere of this ultraportable is a bit on the cheap side, I've seen much worse in the systems, the size and price.
The keyboard is quite large and filled the whole width of the inner surface of the platform. The Chiclet-style keys on the island is separated, and thus allows a fast and accurate typing, but there are very few "travel" to those that are activated in a press release in the short term. It takes a little getting used to. The touchpad is a decent size for a laptop so small, and the next smoothly and evenly, but I'm not a fan of the button bar. This is one large bar, which acts as a toggle switch - press left click to the left and right of the right mouse button. The problem is that by pressing about half is like pushing a swing at the center, does not move and nothing happens. A two-button design, you do not seem so easy, but it would have helped ease.
