Design
HP Pavilion 1a69us G6 has a lid with elegant rounded corners and a stylish two-tone frame. It is built of plastic, but is surprisingly stiff, without bending, which often makes it feel like laptops cheap. While our review unit came in a clean coal gray 1a69us G6 is also available in purple, blue, pink, and tin.
The full-size keyboard has a conventional layout with standard keys, but with a profile elevated square on each key, in writing, the experience was closer to that of a Chiclet keyboard. The layout is fairly standard, but HP has been pressing the four arrow keys on the value of three key 'space with up and down arrows are only half-size keys. Touchpad 1a69us G6 is molded seamlessly into the palm rest, but is easily distinguished from a structural model of raised dots. It supports multi-touch gestures, you can zoom and scroll with a flick of the fingers. There are separate mouse button on the left and right on the bottom of the trackpad to click easily without being too tight.
The 15.6-inch widescreen display is large enough to support the windows side by side (perhaps your browser and Word) or a movie without putting big black bars on the screen. The 1366 by 768 means that the reproduction of DVD and video must be clear and crisp in 720p. In addition to the screen, the Pavilion g6 is also equipped with SRS Premium Sound software, and while the speakers do not satisfy fans of the high quality of sound is distorted at high volume and very little bass are good enough to see a movie without headphones.
